PSA Day Returns This Fall
For more than 30 years, Thurston Community Media (TCMedia) has provided the media tools, training, technical support, and distribution platforms for local groups to share their stories. We have worked with hundreds of organizations and agencies to help craft effective messages for distribution to their target audience.
Ever thought of becoming a member at Thurston Community Media? Now is a great time to do so for nonprofits. New Organizational Members that join before September 1st could have a professionally crafted public service announcement to air on our channel and for you to use as you like. Organizational Members of TCMedia receive a priority invitation to PSA Day on September 16th. You provide the script, pictures, and logos – we handle the rest.
The perks of membership don’t stop there. For as little as $100 a year, a TCMedia Organizational Members gain access to:
- Use of our equipment and facilities
- Distribution on channels reaching more than 60,000 cable-connected homes
- Low-cost training in digital media tools and technology
- Our cost-effective professional production services
- Consultation on communications planning, social media use and management, technology selection, and system/facilities design
TCMedia believes that community media is a powerful tool for building stronger communities. Be a Guest on Mission Nonprofit
Mission Nonprofit is a half-hour studio talk show that showcases the positive work that local organizations and agencies are doing to help make Thurston County a great place to live. If you work at a Thurston County area nonprofit or government agency making a positive impact in our community, we want to hear from you and share your work with 65,000 cable-connected homes and countless more online.
We are able to offer this no-cost production and marketing service for our community with support from workshop students, volunteers and our ongoing media partnership with ThurstonTalk. As such, shoot dates and times are limited.
Spring and Summer Production Dates:
Wednesday, April 17th
Friday, May 31st
Wednesday, June 19th
