TCMedia Funding and Our Future
TCMedia faces the loss of funding from local government that supports our operations and public access services as the jurisdictions make government communications their priority.
Currently, the cable tv franchise between Comcast and the local government provides accommodations for public, educational and government access.
Ending contracts with TCMedia and offering only government content cuts out the public. The community deserves access to resources that are otherwise unavailable to individuals and organizations to create and distribute content. TCMedia makes this possible.
Help ensure our community continues to have access to these valuable tools for communication. Support TCMedia.

You can let our local elected officials know that TCMedia and public access is an important resource for our community. Some things you can do are;
- Attend a meeting to address the city council or county commission during public comment
- Send a letter or email to the elected officials
- Make a phone call and leave a message

Your voice will reflect the value of our organization as a resource for everyone in our community. It’s very important that you keep your comments/letters/phone calls/emails polite and civil. Please do not resort to inappropriate language, accusations, or actions.
